ABOUT US

Objective: 

The objective of NZACT is to promote the study of the ancient Greek and Roman civilisations.

 

Organisation:

The Association comprises Officers and membership.

The Officers comprise a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. They are elected for a two-year term. The Vice-President shall normally become President for a two-year term following his/her Vice-Presidency. 

To be an officer you must be a current member of NZACT. You can be in any region to hold one of the positions.

General Meeting:

The biennial conference includes a General Meeting. At this meeting, reports from the Officers of the Association are received, statements of accounts are confirmed, appointments of officers are confirmed, amendments to the Constitution of the Association are considered, and resolutions on matters of general policy may be passed.
